How to Get Rid of Shaving Bumps
If you ask any shaver what’s the most annoying thing that can occur due to shaving, you are more than likely to hear shaving bumps mentioned along with razor burns and shaving cuts.
Not only are shaving bumps painful, they’re also extremely unattractive due to their reddish pimple like appearance (occasionally white or yellow), and can get in the way of our work or social life, which unfortunately is based on appearances.
But don’t be discouraged, in this article I’ll be teaching you not only how to get rid of shaving bumps, but also how to prevent them from happening in the first place. But first I would like to explain what shaving bumps are.
Shaving bumps are known by various names like razor bumps or shaving pimples, some call it barber’s rash.

Ultrasound imagining may be ordered to create an image of the neck area to have a better look at the thyroid gland and the lymph nodes. The ultra sound is normally followed by a needle biopsy if necessary to determine the cause of the lump.
A radioactive iodine scan providing information about the thyroid function and areas of the gland that do not absorb iodine normally is sometimes warranted.
Treatment for this condition in children will usually be surgery and possibly followed by radioactive iodine treatment to destroy any remaining cancerous thyroid tissue.
